Memphis, Tenn., October 17, 2018 — Dexter Solutions, a brand delivery services company, is absolutely delighted to announce the special recognition of Chairperson Glenda Burkhart as one of Hotel Management Magazine’s 2018 Women of Influence.

“Glenda is a no excuses type of leader who has found the right balance between accountability and inspiration. She is a dynamic and genuine person and we are fortunate to have her guiding the Company.”
– Ashleigh Mason, VP of Business Development and Marketing Services, Dexter Solutions

Glenda Burkhart is a highly accomplished executive in the areas of strategy, large-scale organizational change, and talent development. She has found a passion for hospitality in her ownership and direction of Dexter Solutions and the Company’s hospitality division, A S Hospitality. Ms. Burkhart is the Chair of the Board for Dexter Solutions and active agent in the Company’s success. Through her ownership, Dexter Solutions is also certified by The Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) as a Women’s Business Enterprise. This designation not only supports the Company’s diversity goals but also expands Ms. Burkhart’s personal commitment to help foster diversity.

Each year, Hotel Management selects 30 impactful women who are working hard within an industry which historically has had a scarcity of acknowledged influential women among its ranks. These women are blazing a path not only in hospitality, but in business. Dexter Solutions is incredibly proud to share that Glenda is one of the 2018 recipients of such a distinguished recognition.

“Female leadership was at one time uncommon. It has become more prevalent over the last 5-10 years and I hope that we can keep that momentum rolling. We need to keep doing what we have been doing — recruiting top talent into the ranks, fostering skill building and experience, and then pushing the best into top roles. With leaders like Leeny Oberg at Marriott, Angela Korompilas at American Hotel Register, and Heather Geisler at Hyatt, we are headed in the right direction.”
– Glenda Burkhart, Chairperson, Board of Directors
