Dexter Solutions’ Memphis facility has earned recognition from the Specialty Graphic Imaging Association for its prioritization and achievement of key safety efforts in its print manufacturing.

Dexter received the 2015 Safety Recognition Program Award for participating in bi-monthly self-inspections and reporting those results to SGIA. Inspections included:
  • Administrative areas, giving attention to and noting any tripping hazards, OSHA logs, general housekeeping, etc.
  • Facility-wide areas, noting access to first-aid supplies, proper ventilation, exits properly marked/unobstructed, general housekeeping, etc.
  • Production areas, ensuring hazard communications are available, proper PPE for required areas, lockout/tagout, machinery/equipment/tools in proper working order with correct safe guards, general housekeeping, etc.
  • Fire extinguisher inspection and testing and ensuring all emergency evacuation routes are posted.
